| |  | Welcome all! All you job seekers. All you down-trodden. All you helpless feeling. All who feel like they are trying their hardest to get a job, any job, in order to get by in today's world and just keep hitting one brick wall after another.This forum was created as a haven for you. A safe place where you can come and talk about your job-hunt or not. A place where you can speak with others who are in a similar predicament to you and know that you are not alone.This is a no-judgment zone. Here you are free to rant, you are free to feel out of control and helpless and ADMIT IT. You are free to be yourself. And you are free to let others know they are not the only ones standing in the same place you are.Being jobless against your will is a horrible way to be. It's a deep dark hole from which you begin to feel no escape. The longer you are jobless, the harder you LOOK for a job, the worse it becomes, the darker, the more lonely. All you want is someone to talk to, someone who will understand and tell you what you need or want to hear, someone to make you smile and feel like a normal human being. This isn't something your friends and family can easily do. They're not there, they can't understand how you feel. They throw advice after you, piece after piece like they are trying to leave you a bread crumb trail, but every piece just hits you on the head like a brick making you feel even more angry and frustrated. They mean well, you know it, and you WANT to be appreciative, but it just becomes harder and harder.So come here. No one will give you unasked for advice because we all know how it makes us feel. No one will tell you you're not trying hard enough, you're not productive enough, you're too depressed and negative and you will never get a job because it will come through in your interviews (which you are not even getting despite the fact that you send thousands of resumes and cover letters out into the vast black hole vacuum of cyber-space).Talk to us. Share your story. Vent. Read other people's stories. You will see, you are no longer alone. You are a loved member of Job Seekers Anonymous.
